Research has it that January 23rd and 24th are the MOST depressing days of the year. In Zimbo we used to refer to the depression associated to January as 'January Disease'. One of the major factors attributing to this 'January Disease' is debt. In January kids are back to school and we have just come from the Xmas and new year's holidays where we probably overspent a lil bit. We all know how expensive school fees were in Zim. Above that kids needed uniforms and school supplies. The situation is almost the same to Zimbos overseas. One good thing out here is most primary school kids don't have to pay school fees, the US the end of January spells minor releif for some as we receive those widely anticipated tax refund checks. To most this is a time to let loose and enjoy the small fortune. Dont forget kubhadhara zvikweriti nema credit cards and also to save up for Zim Expo 2006. Let us know your thoughts on this.
