Mugabe is rumored to be ill. Newzimbabwe.com Reports "ZIMBABWEAN President Robert Mugabe visited a top South African clinic on Friday, sparking a volley of speculation over his health." He has referred to himself as the 'youngest old man in Zimbabwe', Which is true in a sense. Mugabe led Zimbabwe to independence in 1980 but his status as a revolutionary hero has diminished over the years due to Zimbabwe's ailing economy. Corruption is rampant in Zimbabwe and inflation rates are among the highest in the WORLD. Mugabe blames the 'West' for most of Zimbabwes woes. I am not sure how to politely put this point across but in a nutshell the passing of Mugabe might be the answer to Zimbabwe's problems OR will it be the beginning of the end? If such an event was to occur there are two possibilities;
-This might bring a mental and psychological boost to Zimbabwe and we will go back to our status as the bread basket of Africa
-His passing will mean more factions among the ruling ZANU PF leading to a state of turmoil. Let us know your thoughts on this....
